We are thrilled to support the Central Okanagan Performing Arts Festival (COPAF). This festival is organized by a non profit organization and it runs each spring between early March and the wrap up Gala on May 15. The festival provides the opportunity for young people that are primarily between the age of 10 and 18 to perform in front of a qualified adjudicator and a public audience. They receive helpful feedback and gain immense confidence from this experience. The very best performers qualify to go on to attend the Provincial festival.
This festival is largely sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of the Central Okanagan ($20,000) and Rotarians also provide most of the volunteer effort required to conduct the festival.

In May, 2026, President Brian Hillaby said “we are very proud to be able to contribute to an event like this that builds confidence in young people to present themselves and their talents to the public, including their peers. We always strive to support sustainable improvements and building confidence in a young person is a very long lasting type of assistance.”
