Fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs

Our Club is thrilled to sponsor Igen.

The iGen Challenge is an entrepreneurial competition held in Kelowna, specifically for grades 7-12 students in Central Okanagan Public Schools. It aims to inspire young entrepreneurs through a startup process, providing mentorship and guidance from local businesspeople. The 32nd annual iGen finale took place on June 10, 2025, where Cadence Lesack from École George Elliot Secondary School won first place with a business called EquiGuard, which is a breakaway halter for horses. The event showcased over 500 students and over 200 teams, highlighting the importance of youth innovation in the region.
