Help us bridge digital divide in our Community

Rotary Club of Kelowna Ogopogo and St. Michael's Cathedral Kelowna are hosting a Laptop Donation & Data Wiping and Laptop Donation Training Events to provide essential technology to those in need across the Okanagan. Turn your unused tech into an opportunity for education and employment for our neighbors.
Every donated laptop will have all previous data carefully wiped to ensure your privacy. Volunteers will then install the Linux operating system to refurbish the machine, extending its life and making it functional for modern use.
Any working PC or Mac laptop (with power cord) bought on or after October 1, 2001, are accepted for this Event.
These computers will be distributed through vital community partners, including Turning Points Collaborative Society, St. Michael's Cathedral, and the Seniors Outreach Centre. As Tara Tschritter** of Turning Points notes, “Access to a reliable computer can be the difference-maker for someone seeking housing or applying for work.”
We need your help to make this event a success. Please SHARE this info widely to ensure these laptops reach the people who need them most.
