An update from our District Governor

Jill’s passion for Rotary is rooted in Youth Services, including Rotary Youth Exchange, Interact, and RYLA.
Her District Governor focus, Fuel the Future: Investing in the Next Generation, reflects her belief that Rotary’s greatest impact is not only found in the projects completed today but in the leaders, members, students, and community partners we encourage for tomorrow.
We had a jam-packed morning, starting with a visit from the Big Kahuna herself, District Governor Jill Leonard. Jill dropped by to share her vision for where Rotary is headed, inspiring us all to keep making magic in our community and proving that people can indeed be that sharp before their third cup of coffee.Speaking of incredible humans, Jill handed out a legitimate Superhero Award to our very own Mark Dixon. No word yet on whether the award comes with a cape but Mark, you have earned every bit of it. Thank you for being an absolute legend in our club.As if the morning was not exciting enough, the Ogopogo family just got a little bigger and a lot better. We are officially welcoming back Elaine C. Elaine is actually one of our original charter members who took a brief hiatus, but like all true Ogopogos, she could not stay away from the fun for long. We are thrilled to have you back home, Elaine.
