They say applied math builds character, but applied pie builds pure happiness

Every year, our Club officially survives the apple orchards, battles the branches, and picks enough fruit to feed a small nation. Rotarians and Volunteers are safe during the harvest, and after picking our team is rolling up their sleeves to start baking.
Every October, you can secure yourself a glorious, homemade apple pie for twenty dollars. Every single dollar goes straight to supporting incredible causes like Elevation Outdoors, the Child & Youth advocacy Centre of Kelowna, and HELP Honduras. Scientifically speaking, this means eating pie counts as a selfless act of community service, making you a local hero.
For our Famous Ogopogo October Apple Pie Fundraiser, if you would like to get in on the action, send us an email here. We will get you added to our master list before the crust runs out.
Holy crust, that is a lot of pie shells!
Ogopogo Rotary Crew with Mitch (Right), Independent Grocers OC11/2026
A massive, buttery-soft thank you to the legendarily sweet folks at Mitch and Sydney's Your Independent Grocers in the Capri Mall. They just dropped a mind-blowing, crust-shattering donation of 100 pie shells for our annual Apple Pie Project. Talk about a slice of pure generosity.
Check out the photo (above OC11/2026) of our Ogopogo crew picking up the stash this morning. Look at those smiles, that is the look of people who know they are about to smell like cinnamon and apples for the next 72 hours.
We have got the apples, we have got the shells, and we have got more love and flour on our shirts than we know what to do with. Now, all we need is you to eat them.
At just $20 per pie, every single purchase helps us raise dough 😂 for incredible local and international causes, including the YMCA of Southern Interior BC, Okanagan College Foundation, Central Okanagan Performing Arts Festival, and the CHISPA Project in Honduras.
Don't let us bake all these in vain, your tastebuds and our community will thank you.

Join us today and help us continue our tradition of service!
